Middy’s Electrical and Brad Jones Racing turn pink for a cause in Sydney

The Middy’s Electrical Camaro will carry a special meaning at the Sydney SuperNight (July 19-21) with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) logo featured on Bryce Fullwood’s Supercar.

Middy’s has been aligned with Breast Cancer Network Australia since 2016 and has previously used its partnerships with Brad Jones Racing to raise awareness for the charity.

Along with the logo on Fullwood’s Camaro, the team will don the ‘Pink Tradie’ beanies with the BCNA insignia - perfect for the frosty Sydney winter.

Middy’s partnership with BNCA has helped raise over $300,000 in the last 8 years for those affected by breast cancer.

The Pink Tradie initiative was launched in 2020, with a brand new merchandise range launching this year for the charity.

The initiative runs over the course of August, and BJR will be running the logo on Fullwood’s rear quarter panel to celebrate the beginning of the ‘Pink Tradie’ month, which will commence in just under two weeks.

BCNA is one of Australia’s leading organisations when it comes to caring for those who have breast cancer.

Every day, 57 Australians are diagnosed with the disease, and BCNA plays an important role in advocating for, connecting and supporting those affected by breast cancer.

Middy’s and BJR are proud to carry the logos this weekend and bring awareness to such an important cause.

You can make a difference today -Text "MIDDYS" to 0476 000 111 to donate.

A full range of ‘Pink Tradie’ merchandise can be found on the BCNA website.

Anton Middendorp

Director, Middy’s Electrical

“On behalf of my cousin and Co-Director Nicholas Middendorp, and the entire Middy’s team, we are pleased to continue our commitment to Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) since 2016.

Our partnership with BJR helps bring awareness to this important cause. This commitment is deeply personal to us, as many of our team members, staff, and customers have been affected by breast cancer, motivating us to make a significant impact.”

Brad Jones

Team owner, Brad Jones Racing

“We are proud to be able to represent the BCNA organisation this weekend and raise awareness for the tremendous work they do throughout Australia.

“So many people are affected by breast cancer from those diagnosed to their families and broader communities. It’s an awful disease and if we can play a part in helping people through one of their toughest times it’s the least we can do.

“Thank you to Middy’s for bringing this partnership forward and we can’t wait to get on track this weekend.”

Kristen Pilatti

CEO, Breast Cancer Network Australia

“Fundraising campaigns like Pink Tradie achieve so much.

“We have a wonderful partner in Middy’s, who support BCNA in connecting with the community and raising awareness of breast cancer by starting a conversation.

“This campaign serves as a reminder that the community is here to support each other, and that BCNA is here to support everyone affected by breast cancer, wherever they are in Australia.”
